The CSF Advanced Microscopy Facility provides access, training and technical support for researchers to an expanding inventory of cutting edge optical imaging techniques.
Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure
-Inverted geometry (light sheet incident from side, imaging from below)
-Optimized for long term plant root growth studies: Day-night lighting cycles, media can be perfused through the sample bath, temperature control
-Also suitable for cleared tissue imaging
-4 laser lines (405nm, 491nm, 514nm, 561nm)
-fast imaging (up to 100 f/s)
-Long working distance objective (8mm), long range piezo and xyz motor stage.
-occular for easy sample finding / locating regions of interest in epi-fluorescence mode
-Custom easy to use software
-stitching of images and convolution as needed also offered as service
