Kurzbeschreibung

The OMNISEC Tetra Detection Gel Permeation Chromatography System allows determination of polymer molecular weight distributions via size exclusion chromatography using 4 separate detectors (Refractive Index, UV/Vis Absorbance, Light Scattering [90° Right Angle Light Scattering (RALS) + 7° Low-Angle Light Scattering (LALS)] and Viscosimetry). Besides molecular weights and molecular weight distributions, the intrinsic viscosity, concentration of the sample and information on the molecular structure (hydrodynamic radius, Kuhn-Mark-Houwing paramters) may be obtained from the measured data.

The research facilty has the expertise in the handling, manipulation and measurement of THF-soluble polymer samples using the OMNISEC gel permeation chromatography system and to provide guidance in the analysis of the obtained data.
