Methoden & Expertise zur Forschungsinfrastruktur
The Breath Research Institute of the University of Innsbruck has excellent expertise in the analysis of volatiles in exhaled breath, urine, sweat, headspace of bacterial cultures and cell cultures, which is demonstrated in over 200 publications. Various state-of the art analytical techniques are used: PTR-TOF-MS, GCMS, IMS, LC-MS and different sensors. A specific focus is real-time analysis of exhaled breath as well as modeling and simulation of the behavior of VOCs in the human body.
