Forschungsprojekte unter Verwendung des Gerätes sind: Datamining, Bilderkennung, Bildverschlüsselung, medizinische Datenverarbeitung im Bereich automatischer Erkennung von Zöliakie, Colonkarzinomen, Nierenzysten. Watermarking und Verschlüsselung von Bilddaten und - sequenzen. Hochdimensionale Zahlentheoretische Numerik für partielle Differntialgleichungen, Integralgleichungen und Interpolation von Funktionen. Simulation von Prozessen, Anwendung der Methode der Dichtefunktionale in den Materialwissenschaften.
