Equipment
The imaging facility is open to all ZMF staff. All registered users have, if not stated differently, the same right to access and use the equipment. To become a registered user it is necessary to undergo a 1 training by the staff of the imaging facility and to sign the user regulation statement. Every user and group, respectively, will receive a specific access code. It is not allowed to pass entry information to unauthorized persons. Special rules apply in the context of teaching activities of groups. Planed teaching activities must be co-ordinated with the imaging facility prior booking. Sample preparation is in the responsibility of the users. Nevertheless the CF imaging offers advice and is happy to redirect requests to local experts.
Booking priority is in general regulated by the time sequence of the booking (First-Come, First-Served policy).
To enable all users to use the microscopes, the maximum time bookable for each user during main hours (Mo.-Fr: 09:00-17:00) is limited to 4 hours per day, 10 hours per week. Deviating demands must be co-ordinated with the CF imaging.
