Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

The 8800 is a triple quadrupole ICP-MS. It can be used effectively for analyzing difficult elements such as sulfur or iron amongst others. The ICP-MS is used as stand-alone or by coupling with HPLC or Laser Ablation for imaging studies. It is the choice for element-specific quantitation in metallodrug research and for environmental questions.

Terms of Use

The Core Facility for Mass Spectrometry at the Faculty of Chemistry provides access to state of the art mass spectrometric infrastructure. The core facility is open to all forms of scientific cooperation. Information on conditions of cooperation and usage fees is provided upon request.
