Short Description
The JKU medSPACE is a lecture hall, forum and stage at the same time. It enables a completely new way of teaching and understanding medicine. CT or MR scans are not viewed on screen here, but can be explored as huge, three-dimensional image worlds on 14 x 7 metres in 8K. By means of "cinematic rendering" technology, photorealistic representations of the human anatomy are created. Organs, blood vessels, muscles, tendons and more can be viewed larger than life from all angles as three-dimensional, razor-sharp objects and all associated data can be faded in and out at the touch of a button.
