Short Description
- 1000 t frame press with Walker-type module manufactured by M.Voggenreiter GmbH (Mainleus/Germany). Conditions up to 25 GPa and 2500°C can be reached. Sample volumes depend on the applied pressure, ranging from 5 mm3 for pressures up to 14 GPa to 10 mm3 for pressures up to 8 GPa.
- 500 t press with Walker-type module manufactured by M.Voggenreiter GmbH (Mainleus/Germany). Conditions up to 14 GPa can be reached.
- 1000 t press manufactured by Hymag AG (Betzdorf/Germany) with Boyd & England piston cylinder module. Conditions up to 4 GPa and 1600°C can be reached.
- 300 t press manufactured by Hymag AG (Betzdorf/Germany) with Boyd & England piston cylinder module. Conditions up to 3.5 GPa and 1600°C can be reached.
- Hydrothermal apparatus with 4 furnaces designed for pressures up to 0.3 GPa and 700°C.
- Various furnaces up to 1800°C
- Vertical furnace up to 1800°C with gas flushing (CO2 or H2)

Expertise zur Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Synthesen und Hochtemperaturexperimenten bei verschiedenen Drücken:
Hochtemperaturöfen: P = 1 bar, bis max. 1800°C. Zusätzliche Möglichkeit der Kontrolle der Sauerstofffugazität im Gasmischofen
Hydrothermalpressen: P = 0.1-1.5 kbar, T bis maximal 900°C
Pistonzylinderpressen: P = 3-50 kbar, T bis maximal 1500°C
Multianvilpressen: P= bis max. 14GPa, T bis max. 2500°C
