The Combined Thermoanalytic Instruments are used to measure thermophysical properties of materials in the solid and liquid range in the low- and high temperature region. Measured properties are specific heat capacity, enthalpy, thermal expansion and specific density.

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure
Material properties (e.g. thermal conductivity, thermal expansion, heat capacity) are determined. These data are crucial for material development and as input parameters for numerical simulation.
