Short Description
Optical coherence tomography is a procedural imaging technology using light of low coherence length for imaging and distance measurement of semi-transparent, scattering materials. The available Thorlabs Callisto OCT System has an axial resolution of approx. 10 µm and a Field of View of 10 x 10 mm with a picture depth of 2.5 mm.
Application fields
• Thickness- or distance measurement as well as imaging of semi-transparent samples
• Geometric assessment of optical lenses, especially intraocular lenses, in air as well as in temperature controlled liquid environments
• Characterisation of scattering centers, e.g., from vacuoles, in semi-clear materials
