Short Description
Acoustic semi-anechoic sound chamber. With the size of 6 x 6 x 3 m, it can be used for acoustic tests and measurements in a nearly free-field. It is equipped with 24 bidirectional audio channels, providing possibility for multichannel sound generation and recording. Per default, the measurement of head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) is set up. Other equipment is provided for tests in virtual environments (generated by means of a head mounted display and position trackers), for testing sound localization or measuring acoustic holography.
The chamber is equipped with audio and video surveillance.
