The microscope is designed for all polarization microscopic investigations of mineral and microstructural characterizations up to conoscopic investigations in the extreme range. Its magnifying lenses can be used in a range from 2.5-fold to 100-fold magnification.

Its magnifying lenses can be used in a range from 2.5-fold to 100-fold magnification. This device is equipped with a 3.3 mega pixel camera so photos can also be taken of the different texture elements.
