This research infrastructure is used for a variety of infrared spectroscopic applications, including material characterization using diffuse reflectance techniques, investigation of the molecular orientation of monolayers via infrared reflection-absorption spectroscopy, and in situ monitoring of chemical reactions using a custom-built ATR cell.
