Research Services
The WZMF has two fully equipped music therapy treatment rooms, each of them can be monitored from two perspectives and offers the possiblility to video- and audiorecord music therapy treatments within research projects. The main focus of research is on music therapy for children, adolescents, and families.
Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure
Based on the idea of combining music therapy research with music therapy treatment and music therapy training, the main focus of this research centre is on the development and implementation of basic and clinical research strategies, the use of different research cultures and methods as well as the inclusion of research technologies that are still relatively new for music therapy (e.g. from neurobiology).
