Short Description
The Karl Böhm (1894-1981) Collection, which was given to the University Library of Salzburg by Almaz Böhm in 2017, includes books and study scores, correspondence, life documents, notebooks, appointment calendars, guest books, personal items, photos and newspaper clippings of the famous conductor. In addition, the numerous prizes and honours, orders and medals with the accompanying documents and certificates bear witness to Böhm's international successes. Numerous portraits in various sizes and techniques round off the collection.
