Research Services
Photoluminescence spectroscopy and electroluminescence spectroscopy of light sources that emit in the telecom wavelength range up to a wavelength of 2.2 µm. If interested, please contact: moritz.brehm@jku.at.
Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure
The luminescence laboratory is used to investigate semiconductors and semiconductor nanostructures with respect to their light emission through electroluminescence and photoluminescence. The existing expertise of the laboratory supervisors (Responsible: Moritz Brehm) lies in the optical and optoelectronic investigations of Group-IV semiconductor materials (silicon photonics) and other semiconductor structures (e.g., Group III-V nanostructures) that emit light in the vicinity of the telecom C-band (1550 nm) up to a wavelength of approximately 2200 nm.
