Short Description

LUS (also LUT - Laser-Ultrasound-Testing) is a high-resolution Ultrasound-Testing technique, where very high frequency broad-band Ultrasonic signals are generated and detected in a contactless way by shortpulse-Lasers.

(*) various Detection-Laser-Systems for different application-scenarios
(*) Lab-Automation for efficient handling
(*) data-processing
(*) mobile equipment for tests at customers sites / industrial processes

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), non-destructive Characterization, Measurement.
LUS enables for completely contactless, high-resolution Ultrasound Testing. It can be best applied for metals and CFRP. The resolution is in the range of few micrometers.
Different LUS-systems available enable for quick tests of LUS for various materials.
