Research Services
realisation of tribological R&D services for the description of materials and component interactions in the framework of customer orders or long-term cooperation in (inter-)national research projects
Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure
simulation of a rotating relative movement between two friction partners; the loaded test specimen rolls (e.g. precision rolling bearings) or slides (e.g. sintered bearing) with defined rotational speed on rotationally symmetrical counterpart (e.g. shaft journal) for the purpose of the tests of the tribological behaviour (e.g. for the determination of the Stribeck curve) of material/lubricant combinations
