Short Description

The High Pressure, High Temperature (HPHT) curing chambers Model 1910 is specifically designed to cure up to 16 standard two-inch cement cube samples (or alternative sealant material) for compressive strength testing in accordance with API Spec 10A / ISO 10426-1 standards for oilfield cements. The curing chambers cover a wide range of operational temperatures and pressures to simulate a wide variety of downhole conditions during the curing process (up to 370 degC and 25.000 MPa).

Research Services

Curing chamber is used for the preparation of cement/concrete samples for further testing.

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

The device is used for wellbore cement investigations in several projects, performed by the Well Integrity Platform. The device helps to optimize cement properties and to develop alternative sealant materials, several members of the Chair are trained to operate the device.
