Short Description
The facility supports users and their projects with a wide range of imaging modalities from macroscopy and light- as well as fluorescence microscopy to confocal laser scanning microscopy to the fine resolution of transmission and scanning electron microscopy including elemental mapping.

Imaging modalities from macro to nano:
stereomicroscopes and photo macroscope

4 light- and fluorescence microscopes (fluorescence, bright field, dark field, polarization, phase contrast)
3 confocal laser scanning microscopes (argon laser, diode lasers, white light laser, tau sense)
2 transmission electron microscopes (1 with elemental analysis)

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure
We facilitate and contribute to the research projects of our customers in video, light, confocal and electron microscopy. Users will be trained and supported for all equipment and experimental protocols. Additionally, for electron microscopy we can offer all workflows as service by highly skilled facility staff.
