Research Services

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), non-destructive imaging & chemical Characterization, spectroscopic 2D-imaging (HSI - Hyper Spectral Imaging).
THz-spectroscopy or THz-imaging can be used for all non-conductive materials.
Polymers can be probed on thicknesses up to several centimeters using THz-radiation, depending on the specific material.
THz-radiation is non-inonizing.
Various setups are available to try out the technology for measurements on many materials or objects, including portable setups.

NDT for polymers / plastics.
Non-destructive spectral / chemical characterization of solid material.
2D chemical imaging of non-conductive materials.
Measurement of multi-layer materials, e.g., single-layer thickness in polymer-coextrusion of pipes.
