Ion chromatography is used to separate small, charged molecules to determine their content in a sample. The instrument at this site is set up for the determination of carbohydrates and small organic acids in biomass.
Quantification of mono and oligosaccharide (also after acid hydrolysis) and small acids. Typical samples are biomass and processed biomass.
